Moving on from No ‘Poo…
Well, not moving on exactly, because I’m continuing with that, and I’ll give it a few more weeks before I give my final final report on it, but I’m trying another alternative, home made, slightly-more-natural approach to something: deodorant. I’ve just mixed it up and it’s setting in the fridge.
- 5Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1/4 cup cornflour (or you can use arrowroot powder)
- a few drops of any essential oils of your choice
Mix it all up & whatnot, pour it into an empty, clean, stick-deodorant container and let it set. While I’ve heard glowing reviews of this recipe, I am slightly worried that the coconut oil wont want to absorb into my skin and instead of getting sweat marks on my clothes I will get oil stains. Maybe I’ll just wear a lot of black for a while…
No ‘Poo hair coming up to 7 weeks! It’s clean, it’s not greasy, it’s well-defined, it has zero product in it, and I put no effort into making it look like this. Prior to going no ‘poo I would go through a lot of leave-in conditioner to make my hair look this good.
I could just be really dumb, but…
